Pro Riders Will Be Spotlighted During Evening Race
HILLIARD, OH. (April 6, 2010) — The fastest Pro racers in the country will duke it out this Saturday evening, April 10th, at Tampa BMX during the Pro Spectacular at the NBL Gator Nationals. The festivities will begin at 4pm with a Pro Autograph session and “Pit Party” following the first day of National amateur racing. The race will start promptly at 6:00pm. Make sure to find your spot in the bleachers for the best Pro BMX racing! The race will feature Olympic Gold Medalist Maris Strombergs!

Amanda Geving gets a great photo in the May issue of BMX Plus. Ever since Geving made it back onto MCS Bicycles it appears as though she's gotten a renewed psych and she's been doing great on the national scene.
Last weekend Geving competed in the UCI Supercross event in Madrid, Spain and she definitely turned peoples heads. She scored a win in her heat and made it to the finals. Look for a lot more good results from this long time Florida superstar.
Our First Annual Cystic Fibrosis Benefit Race at USA BMX Riverview was a success!
With the help of our riders and sponsors, we were able to raise $500 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and All Children's Hospital on behalf of Simon Brandenburg, Jr., a survivor of cystic fibrosis (CF). Each rider received a J&R t-shirt as a thank you, along with a special CF thank you ribbon. USA BMX Racing and CycleCraft BMX were also in attendance to support the cause.

Florida's very own wonder boy Josh Meyers will make his supercross debut this weekend in Madrid, Spain. Josh is hot off his first AA Pro win at the ABA Gator Nationals and should do well after that boost in confidence. Shortly after the Gator Nationals Josh packed up his bags and caught a flight out to CA to the Chula Vista Olympic Training center. At the OTC Josh has been working on his confidence and preparing for the big 3 story starting hill drop.

Madera's Tyler Faoro continues to dominate the A Pro class on the national circuit. The American Bicycle Association (ABA) held their annual Super Nationals at the Metroplex BMX facility in Desoto, TX. 2 days of national racing and 2 wins for Florida #1 pro Tyler Faoro.
Day 1:
Faoro easily qualified through the motos and semi finals to get himself a spot in the main event. With top finishes in qualifying Faoro had priority pick for his lane in the main event. Faoro wisely choose lane 1 for his main event and when the gate dropped he was gone. Lead the way from start to finish with no challenge for the lead.
LUTZ - Step-ups, doubles, table tops, asphalt turns and triples are just a few of the configurations bicycle motocross riders can enjoy at the 1,100-foot Tampa BMX Raceway.
The 34-year-old National Bicycle League sanctioned-track is situated within 600-acre Lake Park, which is off of Van Dyke Road and North Dale Mabry Highway. Three times a week the track is open for both children and adults to practice or race.

Amanda Geving was recently named to the USA Cycling Funded Team for the upcoming Madrid SX event. “We are extremely excited that Amanda has made the team! It just shows how much she has stepped up her game this year.” said Brian Fell, Marketing Director for MCS Bicycles. “We know that Amanda has the ability and determination to get the job done. This is just one more reason we worked so hard to get her back on the program.”
